Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)

YAC is a group of teens that meets monthly at the library to talk about books, movies, music, current events and more!
Here’s just a few things that YAC members do:

  • Members write entries for the McKinley Teen Blog
  • Members make suggestions to the librarian on what types of materials they’d like to see at the library
  • Members coordinate teen volunteer services at the library
  • Members plan and participate in service projects for the library
  • Members meet new friends and hang out

You can be a part of the fun by joining YAC !  Teens must be over the age of 12 to join.  You must attend a meeting to join. Pre-registration is not required to attend meetings. For specific dates of YAC, please visit the Teen Calendar Page.
