McKinley Memorial Library offers fun programs monthly for teens ages 12 and up. The following programs meet one night each month.

Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)YAC is a group of teens that meets monthly at the library to talk about books, movies, music, current events and more!
Here’s just a few things that YAC members do:

  • Members write entries for the McKinley Teen Blog
  • Members make suggestions to the librarian on what types of materials they’d like to see at the library
  • Members coordinate teen volunteer services at the library
  • Members plan and participate in service projects for the library
  • Members meet new friends and hang out

You can be a part of the fun by joining YAC !  Teens must be over the age of 12 to join.  For specific dates of YAC, please visit the Teen Calendar Page.

Teen Movie Night: Bring a blanket to sit on and join us on the last programming Thursday each month at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium to watch a movie and grub on snacks.
Movie selections will be made by teens. All movies will be rated PG13.
For specific dates of Teen Movie Nights, please visit the Teen Calendar Page.
