House Projects
Demolition of the old McKinley Bank building, located on S. Main St., has been completed,
and a replica of President William McKinley's birthplace home has been erected in its place.
Pictures of the demolition of the McKinley Bank Building and the Old Main Ale and Chowder
House, which took place between 11/1999 and 11/2000, can be seen by clicking on the link.
During reconstruction, a fence was erected in front of the construction site, and murals were
painted on it by the art students of Mrs. Patty Tricomi of Edison Junior High School.
